A Change in Direction...

I bet you are wondering what does yogurt have to do with jewelry and/or business. Nothing, really. I have nothing jewelry or business related to write about today. I've only just resumed my blogging and I'm already hitting a brick wall in regards to scintillating blog topics - related to jewelry or business that is. I really wish I would have made this a blog about me, jewelry, starting a business, life in general and what ever the heck I wanted to write about. It would make my blogging life so simple. But wait and hold the phone here people!!! What's to say I can't do that anyway?? I'm in the process about re-inventing myself and my jewelry shop...maybe I should include my blog. Clever idea? Perhaps. Or does this fall in step with "Don't fix what ain't broke" philosophy of life. Well, I think I'm going to find out.

How many of you are still with me?? Here's what's really on my mind right now - Spega Yogurt - specifically the little jars it comes in. I'm on a mission (read: obsessed with) to find some empty jars. I just know there's this little cult following that buys this yogurt and either has kept the jars (because they're so cute but haven't a clue what to do with them) or have kept them because they know exactly what they want to do with them. Then there's the group that I fall into: I haven't bought the yogurt because no one sells it in Washington State and I would know what to do with those little jars once I consumed my yogurt. I have a little project in mind and those little jars would work quite nicely. If had some. Which I don't. Do you?

I'm willing to trade some hand-crafted sterling silver artisan earrings for some of these little yogurt jars - no matter the brand - French, Italian, England - it doesn't matter. Let me know.

I've never even heard of it. Will baby jars do? :) I need to know what to do with all the jars I will start accumulating in the next few months when the boy starts eating "real" food. :)

Baby jars would work - but they're not as cute. But then I haven't really taken a look at baby jars lately.

My plans are to make candle lanterns out the jars I accumulate - I'll be wrapping wire around the the tops and fashioning a handle so that I can hang them from my cherry tree.

Check out this web-site:

OH my gosh...SO cute!!!

I think that it would be adorable for tea lights using the smaller baby jars. I just bought a bunch (just to be prepared for when he starts eating food) and the jars are super tiny and cute. (I think) I'll have to take photos in the future to show the different types of jars. I've got some Gerber and some Beech Nut.

Hi, and thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your comment ... I also have slowed down on dropping ecards ... but have kept it up on a limited basis.

I am not familiar with that brand of Yogurt but I agree, they look darling. Hope you have luck in locating some users of the HYogurt.dolos

I haven't seen that brand of yogurt either. Humm, but I do like the idea of using baby jars. I usually collect the small jars that artichokes come in and store orphan beads in them, but tea lights sound cool.

Do you have a picture of the jars separately, the look like our yogurt glasses in Belgium but I can't be sure . It would be helpful to see them without the wrapper :)
